Solid, classically constructed building built in 1984/85 - client: quality control manager of Jurid Bremsbeläge (now Honeywell), white lattice windows in classic red brick façade, double-shell, 42! cm thick masonry with air layer.
Basement:
========
The exterior of the basement was completely excavated in 2022, sealed, the drainage renewed, 10 cm perimeter insulation (Styrodur 3035CS) applied and boarded. In addition, large casemates in the form of L-profiles and large windows were installed to achieve maximum brightness in the living area.
Two existing drains at the corners of the building were lowered by approx. 2 m and fitted with sensor-operated pumps. As a result, the house is now completely protected against the cold and wet, so that the new owner can consider these problems solved for decades to come.
The interior of the basement was completely re-electrified, including the fuse box, house connection, sockets, lighting, etc. The room layout was changed and all walls were replastered, sanded several times and painted with high-quality Brillux 3000 paint.
In the two east-facing rooms, indirect LED lighting and LED spotlights have been installed in all-round light trusses on the ceiling with manual controls. One of the rooms is used as a hi-fi room.
Another room has two large and one small window facing south.

The upper floor was also renovated in 2022. There is a full bathroom including a shower, bathtub, double washbasin and toilet. Next door is the study with a further 18.5m².
Facing south-west - similar to the layout of the first floor - is the bedroom/living room and a loggia, which offers a wonderful view of the evening sun and the rooftops of Reinbek. From the dining area - or alternatively from the hallway - visitors can access the 33m², light-flooded living room. Dimmable LED spotlights and the Morsø stove in the middle of the room as well as cushions and blankets on two cozy sofas ensure real hygge moments in your own home. Here you will also find the exit to the loggia, which offers the opportunity to store firewood, shoes, etc. in a dry place. Behind this is the approx. 80m² terrace with a charcoal barbecue, a seating area with teak furniture and a lounge area.
